I lead the lab's Gaming/VR/XR wing — mentoring a 25-member core team and supporting a wider community of 100–150 students. I organize the lab's flagship events: a game jam, a 100-participant hackathon, and an annual expo that draws over a thousand attendees.

rPPG Motion Compensation

An end-to-end remote photoplethysmography pipeline that estimates heart rate from ordinary video, even when the subject is moving — ROI tracking, motion-aware filtering, and signal fusion. Implements and benchmarks five rPPG methods (Green, CHROM, POS, PBV, ICA) with full evaluation and visualisation tooling.

A macOS desktop app that centralises client résumés, profile images, and audio transcripts in one workspace. A local LLM and Whisper speech-to-text turn recorded conversations into detailed client write-ups, with one-click export to Google Docs.

A mini-games metaverse for Meta/Oculus headsets, with polished onboarding and navigation flows. Integrates smart contracts, asset ownership, and transaction flows for a play-and-earn experience.

A federated learning simulation across multiple school datasets, with a global model trained over decentralised clients using the Flower framework — reaching 80–82% accuracy, with analysis across training rounds and client splits.

Drucination & Fight Your Fears

Drucination, a 2D time-and-reality puzzle platformer, won Next Tech Lab's Parallax Game Jam. Fight Your Fears, a VR experience for confronting fear-based scenarios, won the 9Hacks hackathon.

Research & Patents

VR Puzzle System with EEG-Based Stress Analysis

A VR puzzle environment paired with EEG-based real-time stress and response estimation, for emotional and cognitive assessment. I owned the end-to-end ML pipeline and built the immersive environments in Unity, advised by Dr Manikandan V M. Published as Indian Patent Application No. 202541131948, and backed by a ₹50,000 university seed grant.

Patient Stratification via Transcriptomic Data

My bachelor's thesis, advised by Dr Anirban Bhar: analysing RNA-seq expression data for precision oncology using feature selection and patient-similarity networks. Awarded the Gold Medal in the Biomedical Imaging and Smart Healthcare Technologies track.
